Friends of Pembrokeshire National Park

The Friends of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park:-

  • support, encourage and co-operate with the National Park Authority in its statutory role
  • seek to influence decision-makers on matters affecting the Park
  • lobby, challenge and campaign for policies and decisions that would enhance the Park
  • respond to Welsh Government & Local Authority consultations that could affect the Park
  • liaise with other like-minded bodies to uphold the best interests of the Park
  • help and assist other worthwhile projects, such as “Diversity Outdoors” and “Walkability“, which enable special minority groups and those with mobility difficulties to visit and enjoy the National Park
  • provide support for exceptional projects such as the reinstatement of the Skokholm Bird Observatory and the restoration of thePump House at St.Brides with its rare Tangye pump engine
  • exhibit at other appropriate local events such as the Really Wild Food and Countryside Festival at St. David’s
